Mark Bran, Vice-President, took over the company in 1999 and brings
with him over 15 years experience in the tennis industry. As a
college stand-out player and former teaching professional, Mark
provides a rarity in the tennis court construction industry:
expertise from a tennis player's point-of-view. Along with
Derrick Barton's 40-plus years as a playing professional and former
British Davis Cup Member, head tennis coach at Davidson College and
Rhodes College, founding teaching professional at the University
Club of Memphis (TN), and builder of some of the finest private and
public tennis courts in the Southeast, Derrick Barton Sports Construction offers over a half-century of knowledge and passion for
the game and unequaled quality in court construction.
